Hi, my name is David Benjamin and I’m a Cut and Fold Book Folding addict.

Living in South Wales with 2 dogs and my daughter I am an IT Manager and Web Designer by day but an avid pattern designer long into the nights.

I’ve always enjoyed crafty past times, and dabbled with many over the years, but none have captured my enthusiasm as much as the cut and fold method of book folding.

I stumbled across book folding purely by accident whilst channel hopping one evening. Create & Craft had a show with peerless designs who were demonstrating how, using a chart of a pattern, you could fold the pages of a book into words & images. I was fascinated for well over 2 hours and once the show had finished was off on a google hunt looking for everything I could find about the craft.

One test project from a free pattern and that was it, I couldnt stop. My hunt for more patterns led to me Facebook groups and ultimately to one in particular that was soley dedicated to Cut & Fold. After a few tests of the owners patterns I was well and truly hooked. The level of detail you can acheive is just amazing.

Not content with testing other peoples patterns I wanted to create my own, so as an early christmas present to myself, I purchased the necessary software and started creating my own library.

And so here we are today. Like me, at the start, there are many people wanting to get into this amazing craft but struggle to find instructions, top tips, patterns and anything else to get them going.

This website I hope, over time, will provide all this and much much more in one convenient place.
