This owl is just what I was looking for to make a gift for a friend. I have tested it on an old paperback book and am now looking for a book of suitable size for the final product. So far I have found the pattern easy to follow, despite only having done folding, but not cutting, before. However I found the additional instructions on the site were very helpful in getting started on cutting.
